Food / Nigeria & diaspora

Adun Foods

Good food. A feed that wasn’t doing it justice. I started there.

Let me set
the scene.

Adun Foods had a product worth presenting properly. The digital presence wasn’t helping enough: inconsistent branding, a fragmented feed, and too little connection between seeing the food and knowing how to buy it. My work brought the visual direction, content planning, and advertising into a more useful relationship.

With food, the presentation is part of the trust. A scattered feed can make it harder to understand the quality of what is being sold. The brand also needed to speak to buyers in Nigeria and the diaspora without losing a recognisable identity between the two.

Would this feed make me hungry—and confident enough to order?
01 / THE DECISION

Give the photography a clearer brief

I developed creative briefs for photographers and directed the overall presentation of the food. The aim was a visual standard the content could keep returning to. Attractive images mattered, but so did making those images feel like they came from the same brand.

02 / THE DECISION

Replace the scramble with content pillars

I reworked the page around a more consistent identity and a sustainable content approach. Product showcases, the care behind the food, and cultural storytelling gave the feed useful variety without making every post feel like a new direction. A repeatable structure also makes planning the next piece less chaotic.

03 / THE DECISION

Make the next step obvious

I paired persuasive captions with clear calls to action and managed campaigns for local and international audiences. The job of the copy was not just to admire the product. It needed to help an interested person understand how to move towards an order.

What I made
and put in place.

  • Photography briefs and visual direction
  • Social page and brand presentation revamp
  • Content pillars and planning structure
  • Conversion-focused captions
  • Local and diaspora advertising

What changed.

The brand gained a more consistent presentation and a clearer content-to-enquiry path for local and international buyers. The emphasis was on a system that could keep supporting demand, rather than a single attractive post.

What stayed with me.

A content calendar is easier to fill when the brand knows what it is trying to say. Otherwise, it’s just thirty empty boxes giving everyone anxiety.

If your product is better than its online presence, let’s close that gap.

Let’s talk about it
